14th International conference on Polymer-solvent Complexes and Intercalates
and
1st conference on Next-Generation of (Macro)-Molecular Self-Assembled Systems
Strasbourg is served by an international airport. The city is connected to major European cities
(see http://www.strasbourg.aeroport.fr/index.php).
Strasbourg airport (SXB) is well-served by Air France-KLM from different French cities except Paris
(http://www.airfrance.com). From Paris CDG a TGV train
connexion is available (see below), reaching Strasbourg in less than 2 hrs (note that the train ticket may bear flight number with
destination SWB instead of SXB). Strasbourg is also connected to the Dutch airport Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS)
by 3 flights a day.
Another possibility is to land at Frankfurt Airport (FRA) in Germany. A bus shuttle from Lufthansa
(www.lufthansa.com)
connects regularly Strasbourg in 2 hrs, 4 or 5 times a day (arrival at the Strasbourg main railway station).
By train
TGV fast trains now connect Strasbourg to Paris in 1H50 (Paris city center and Paris CDG).
Schedule can be found on the website of the French railway transport authority
(https://en.oui.sncf/en/).
Cheap fares can be obtained by early booking.
By car
Two major motorways serve Strasbourg (west-east Paris-Strasbourg A4, north-south A35).
Maps are available on https://www.viamichelin.fr/).
The conference venue
Once in Strasbourg we advise to use the city transportation system (trams and bus lines map).
Reach tram station “Gare centrale” (line A or D bound to “Rotonde” “Poteries” or “Parc des sports”), and then exit to take bus G.
Step out at “Arago” station (6th stop).
For security reasons, the entrance for external people is at 23 rue du Loess (see map below, and picture of the entrance). You will present yourself there, and will have to register prior to enter the campus. This is not the conference registration that will take place inside the ICS. Once inside the campus follow the path marked on the picture below (typically along the fence). It takes less than 10 mins to reach the Institute. A map is available on the Institute website
(https://www.ics-cnrs.unistra.fr/acces-switchlang-en.html).
