This classic shear rhéometre allows to characterise the visco-elastic response of complex fluids and soft solids. Measurements can be done in continuous or oscillatory fashion in a frequency range of 0.001-100 Hz. Either the displacement or the torque can be controlled. Different measurement geometries are available: Couette, cone-plate & plate-plate.
