Royal Society of Chemistry Editor Natalie Cotterell will be aiming to provide an overview of navigating the publishing process. This talk will explain what happens between the submission and decision stages once a manuscript is submitted and what our Editors look out for. It will also provide some top tips to help researchers prepare their papers and to make sure that they have the best chance of being considered for publication. Natalie will also touch on the RSC's open access agreements and the benefits of publishing with the Royal Society of Chemistry. This talk is primarily aimed at early-career researchers, including PhDs, Post-Docs and for those who are more established in their career but would like some more information on the publishing process.
