Step-by-step guide to go on a mission

In order to go on a mission, the steps are the following:

  1. Prepare your mission by filling a "Demande d'ordre de mission" on Etamine. A guide is available by clicking here. The validator you need to fill in must be your administrative mission contact, whom you will find on this page.
  2. For missions implying:
    • Transport by train (except for interregional trains - TER),
    • or rransport by plane (only if the same route by train is more than 3 hours long),
    • and/or the accommodation in France
the use of Rydoo (negotiated CNRS market) is mandatory.
The market also offers the possibility of booking accommodation abroad, but it is still possible to book the accommodation of your choice (in which case you will have to pay in advance).
To book these modes of transport and accommodation, log on to Notilus once the mission order has been validated by the Director and make the reservations in the Travel tab. A guide is available by clicking here.
If the platform does not offer an accommodation solution for your trip, send the certificate to your administration's travel coordinator as proof that you can book your own accommodation (and, in this case, pay in advance).
  3. Deposit your mission days in your account Agate-Tempo
  4. During your mission, make public transports your first choice, as the use of a taxi, for instance, would require a justification.
  5. When you return from a mission, it is imperative to confirm your return from the mission in Notilus, whether or not you have expenses to reimburse.
For reimbursement of expenses, you must complete your expenses along with all scanned supporting documents (restaurant bills and invoices for the rest). (page 3 of the guide)
Note that credit card receipts do not count as a proof of payment, and that meal tickets should be individual (each person should pay its meal and get its own ticket).
If you have any question, do not hesitate to consult your mission adviser from the administration service.
