CROUS restaurant

The CROUS is an organism in charge improving the life of students including housing, eating or fellowships.

For doctoral students, depending on your employer, you do not have access to the same subsidy at the CROUS restaurant on campus. Use the table below to know more about your situation:

*An activation link will then be sent to you by email, allowing you to activate the card. Please allow 72 hours for your account to be activated. Once your account is active, you can go to the office at the entrance of the CROUS restaurant to request a physical card or use the IZLY application.

Note that for Unistra staff, 2 meals are subsidized per day. For CNRS staff, only one meal is financed per day.

Since the sanitary crisis, it is possible to take meals away. To do so, you just have to ask the person on duty to serve your meal in a dedicated glass dish for which you will pay about 5€. The next time, ask for the same thing, and give the previously used, cleaned dish to the cashier and the new one will not be charged.

Some restaurants within walking distance of the campus

As the campus is a bit far from the city centre, the list of accessible restaurants in the area is quite small. You can go out through the IUT pedestrian access located at the back of building 25 (see campus map) only between 12:00 and 14:00, and find some restaurants there or go through the front gate.
